Overview

Subsea cable damage can be accidental, negligent or deliberate, and the physical evidence may sit on the seabed while the relevant vessels continue moving. A useful investigation has to align engineering fault data with maritime traffic, then distinguish ordinary transits from tracks and vessel conditions that deserve closer review.
