The Lead Qualification Specialist will help grow revenue for the business. This will include prospecting, qualifying generated leads, conducting product demonstrations and trials, and following up.


  • Prospecting for potential clients in the market place
  • Handling incoming phone or email sales leads
  • Validating client needs with respect to PenLink products
  • Educating prospective customers on current and upcoming products and services
  • Scheduling product demonstrations, training sessions, and calls with Field Sales team members
  • Following up on product trials and demonstrations
  • Running webinars for current and potential clients
  • Accurately recording all activities in the CRM system
  • Providing feedback about our products, competitor’s products, and the competitive landscape to appropriate internal individuals for strategic planning purposes
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Ability to successfully promote software product and service offerings to a variety of professionals in diverse law enforcement and other markets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to handle a high volume of email communications and calls
  • Ability to work well with members of internal teams to drive sales
  • Detail-orientated to research market and client information
  • Experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment, specifically using Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


  • College degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • Two plus years of inside sales, sales, or account management experience preferred
