We will soon be hosting our first training conference abroad. July 29th - 31st, Latin American Pen-Link users from various agencies and countries will gather in Bogotá, Colombia to improve their skills in what is becoming the key to unlocking cases throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
You may ask, why Colombia? Well, given the increased number of Pen-Link users and installations in Colombia, the DEA proposed a training class for the Latin American market. At the conference, the presentations and format will be in Spanish, also a first for Pen-Link, with the use of English interpreters. All agencies and their vetted counterparts are welcome to attend the training conference.
During the first two days, attendees will learn how to use current features of Pen-Link 8.1 software such as the autoload and import functions, multi-monitoring feature, GIS mapping and interfacing with Google Earth, custom reports, and graphical analysis reports and how to use LINCOLN software to set up an intelligence network through personal one-on-one demonstrations and instruction.
On the third day, conference attendees will discover the power of “X,” Pen-Link’s Xnet that is. Topics to be covered include 3G telephony and the capabilities present in Pen-Link, collecting IP communications and protocols, reconstructing and reassembling IP packets and Xnet reporting and analysis.
