The Pen-Link Partner Program trains suitably qualified organizations to become distributors of Pen-Link Lawful Interception Solutions. If you request additonal information not provided in the article below, feel free to email for more assistance.
The focus of Pen-Link Partners
Pen-Link sells directly to Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement agencies clients in the United States. Pen-Link also works directly with U.S. Federal Agencies internationally. For all other opportunities we rely upon our Partners to sell and support our solutions.
Required pre-existing knowledge
Pen-Link’s Partners have existing relationships with law enforcement, security, public safety, military and government intelligence agencies and are able to capitalize on these relationships to deliver lawful interception solutions. Most distributors also have management/sales staff with past government employment and security clearances. For technical support, their engineering staff has knowledge of basic networking and can support minimum standards for physical hardware and OS. For Customer Support our Partners have PC user knowledge in order to solve client software problems, call center capabilities and training staff.
Revenue opportunities
Due to the demand generated by an increasingly unsafe world, Pen-Link’s software and services represent an excellent business opportunity. Revenue generation includes the initial sale which is comprised of software, hardware, installation, preparation of data bases and system configuration. In addition, there are lucrative, ongoing revenue opportunities including training programs, frequent system expansion, and annual maintenance.
The Pen-Link sales process
Since devising and implementing a Pen-Link solution for a customer involves a number of professional services, it is a solution sale not purely a software sale.
The services provided by our Partner representatives include:
- Technical consultancy (pre- and post-sales)
- Requirements definition
- Configuration
- Localization of the user interface
- Installation
- Training
- Ongoing technical and operational support
In addition, many Partners may also provide value-added services such as integrated solutions, equipment and communications infrastructure, and ongoing hardware support.
Participation in the Pen-Link Partner Program
Past experience has demonstrated that both Pen-Link and the Partner are most successful in the initial phase if there are specific, qualified opportunities. This is often accomplished by creating interest with current or past client agencies. From these potential opportunities, a joint business plan can be developed for your territory which will cover sales generation activities and the resources required from both organizations for success. Once agreed, training for your organization as a distributor will begin. This would include your staff coming to our corporate offices for both sales and technical training.
If you are interested in becoming a Pen-Link Partner, please email for an initial discussion. Consideration for participation in the Partner Program would proceed through the following steps:

Support provided by Pen-Link Corporate Offices
Pen-Link will assist in the early phases of the relationship with training, presales, an on-site support to help qualify prospects. Pen-Link will also help in developing value-related proposals based upon experience with other partner customers as well as Pen-Link direct customers.
Pen-Link understands that our new Partners may not be in a position to undertake the support of a complete sale at the onset and that there is a "settling-in" period. Therefore Pen-Link will be heavily involved starting with your first sale, supporting you through the learning phases. Gradually, our support will diminish over time as your knowledge progresses, your client list grows, and you can comfortably support new customers independently.
